In dealing with SAMULCO, it may be necessary to provide your personal data in connection with your dealings, direct or indirect, with employees and officers, visits to our cooperative offices, website and portals.

 We collect and process personal data in the ordinary course of business of our cooperative, to the extend necessary to have personalized transactions with you, basic personal information and other sensitive information relevant to you as a member. 

WE USE THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When necessary, we request to your Personal data to help us understand you more and in particular for the following purposes:

1. Making you a bonafide member;

2. To improve our products and services to you;

3. To evaluate and determine your qualification to our products, services and benefits;

4. To meet any requirement in availing loans and receivables, open and maintained deposits;

5. To keep an internal record for confirming, maintaining or updating our members records;

6. For members relations management purposes, such as updating you to our cooperative activities

7. For statistical and internal reporting; 

8.  For identification or verification purposes;

9. To communicate or contract you with regards to your accounts with us;

10. To satisfy any legal or regulatory requirements; and

11. For legal claims. 

SECURITY AND RETENTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

It is a must for us to protect your data. We implement appropriate and adequate controls in reducing the risks of breach of your personal data. 

We retain Personal data only as for long as necessary for legitimate business purposes, to comply with the relevant laws and regulations or for a legal action.

1. Partner organizations to which our Cooperative have legitimate business transactions;

Any access to Personal data will be limited to the person who require your personal data to perform the functions for which have been collected, as required or by law.  We share your Data only if you have prior written consent.
